Delicious Italian favorite sandwiches right here in a Midtown food truck. We have been here a week and now on our last day, Diso's here! Our first sandwich a couple of years ago had the grilled eggplant which continues to be the go to for us. A very hearty sandwich with grilled eggplant, sliced smoked mozzarella, arugula and balsamic is what we got this time. I would have liked some salt and pepper for a bit more seasoning for me is all. If you see their red truck...stop and get a delicious sammy. You won't be sorry!

I work across the street from the truck and like to treat myself every so often on a Wednesday when I do not pack my lunch. A few weeks ago, the treat was a full Chicken Caesar sandwich (not on regular menu) and it was super delicious. I placed my order at the truck around 11:30 so the service was really fast! I think it's almost time to treat myself again

This Is For Truck 1 Service and Sandwich Is Excellent I Stop By On Friday March 28 and I Bought A Little Sal Sandwich And It Is By Far The Best Sandwich I Urge Everyone To Try It. Stop By and Pick Up A Sandwich! wonderful Staff Preparing Your Food. Give Them A Try!

Sammy the bull hits the spot! Solid sandwich and the service and people from Truck #2 on 6th ave and 46th is the BEST. Can't wait to go back.

This was my second visit to DiSO's Italian Sandwich Society. It was first time visiting Truck #2 at its 46th Street and Park Avenue location. During my first visit to DiSO's, I ordered my usual go to sandwich which is the Italian meat combo. However, I decided to choose the spicy chicken sandwich as a hero which was on The GoodFellas Menu. The sandwich consists of chicken cutlet, hot sopressata , provolone, arugula, grilled onions, pickles, hot honey, and spicy chipotle aioli spread. I opted to omit the grilled onions on my sandwich. The spicy chicken was absolutely delicious, stacked with chicken cutlet and packed with flavor. Service was excellent and quick. Thank you DiSO's Italian Sandwich Society for amazing sandwiches, service, and consistency.

Excellent sandwich today. I am from Hoboken and work in Brooklyn, so have been exposed to a wide range of Italian sandwiches. Diso's is way up there when you factor in value, food quality, variety, and portion size. Went with the Big Pauly and it exceeded my expectations. The half size for $12 got me pretty full and I would imagine it can be stretched to a 2nd meal/large snack for some people. It's hard to think of a better deal in midtown Manhattan. They also don't skimp on quality -- everything in this sandwich was amazing from the fresh tasting tangy marinara sauce to the few leaves of fresh basil to the deliciously sautéed eggplant. Will definitely be back to try more of their options. They rotate their location by the day, so look at their website and give this place a shot.

This food truck is nearby my work and I decided to give it a shot. I got the Tony Cheeks which is basically sautéed eggplant with broccoli rabe and hot peppers on a hero. I will admit the sandwich did not hold well as when I bite into it 10 mins later, the bottom part of the hero was getting soggy. I kind of expected this and will get something else next time. But from a flavor profile, the eggplant and the broccoli rabe tasted fresh and it was a well prepared sandwich. The hero bread itself was not hard at all and I ate it with ease. The staffs there are very friendly. I would recommend this truck for sure. They were also on the Great Food Truck Race season 6.

All in all, one of the best lunch options around. Take note: it is CASH ONLY. Make sure you have a fresh batch of greenbacks before hopping in line. The line moves quickly. I typically time my order around the tail end of the midday rush. By 1:30 PM or so, I rarely wait more than 3-5 minutes. As for the sandwiches, they are strictly excellent. I have been working my way through much of the menu and have not found a miss yet. The sandwiches are artisanal composition. Da Vinci would be proud. The construction tends toward the beautiful and balanced. Every ingredient tastes and feels fresh. The bread, in particular, is next level. Establishing structure, maintaining softness while never slipping into sogginess, and packing hearty fresh baked flavor. Worthy of the name, it has to rank among the best hero rolls in the city. Last but not least, the ever important seasoning of reasonable pricing. A half sandwich is more than enough for a workday lunch and runs you less than $13. Or you can opt for the full Monty for $5-7 more and either gorge yourself into crumb-covered nap oblivion or enjoy a meal deserving to be repeated the next day.

Returned to DiSo after the owner, Adam, offered me a free sandwich, because of their well deserved 5 star review. I chose the "Oh Marie" and boy, it was good. The sandwich consisted of Sicilian eggplant, fresh mozzarella, homemade marinara, shaved parmasean reggiano, and fresh basil. It's definitely not a clean eating sandwich, but that's what I enjoyed the most. Each bite was full of flavor and they included the right amount of napkins...a lot...to last the entire meal. Even before Adam's generosity, I was going to be a happy return customer. After today, I turned into their Yelp consigliere.
